It disgust me that people are really in this comment section say that she had no right to this information. She was actively sleeping with Logan at that time and he lied about his past sexual encounter. What if he got something from Madison then gave it to Veronica? He lied to her so protect himself. If someone does something knowing that it will hurt someone they love than knowingly and actively lies about it... that isn't them protecting the person its them saving their own ass. Because they know that person will walk out of their life.

Madison did not drug her. Like what is this scene? I used to love Veronica Mars, but I realise as I grown older how misogynic the show was. Really disapointing because the show seems to want to portray a powerful woman. But they just made Veronica to be "not like other girls". Logan is shit. Remember all his racist and sexist crap? Or all his violence? I used to love LoVe, I know better now.

If you think that Veronica is being irrational here, you're right! But irrationally putting all the blame for what happened to her on Madison is the only way she can NOT blame two people who did far worse to her that night... Logan and his bestest buddy Dick. Logan made her a target in the first place, and then at that party, he made her barely conscious body into a human shot glass. He absolutely did not mean for her to be raped but HE'S the one who initially crossed the line of doing sexual things to her while she was helpless, and then he invited his friends to do the same. Which is probably why Dick thought it was funny to carry her into a bedroom and flat out tell his little brother to rape her, and then leave him alone in the room with her. Not to mention that Veronica was only drugged in the first place because Dick was trying to drug his own girlfriend. The ONLY way she can allow Logan, who is STILL best friends with the guy who told her rapist to rape her, into her life is if she makes it someone else's fault, so she pushes all her anger and pain and hatred onto Madison through sheer force of will. And then Logan, the person she jumped through all those mental hoops for in the first place, slept with Madison the scapegoat and knocked down the barrier Veronica had put up between him and the worst night of her life. And all that pain and betrayal and disgust came rushing back.
Logan knowingly hid this information from Veronica, because he anticipated that it would hurt her. If what he had done was fine, then why did he feel the need to cover it up?
He told her he fooled around with a girl who meant nothing to him and it made him sick thinking of it. What he did was fine. Veronica as always was just irrational
try to be in her place, would you be fine with the love of your life sleeping with your worst enemy, someone you completely hate and despise?

Just, is 15 years after the show. But really she didn't true feed you on purpose dick gave her the drug and her coke she gave it to Veronica by accident to give her something to drink. Logan did tell her she slept with someone she didn't really like he couldn't stand being with her and he didn't want wanted to be over as soon as he did it he just didn't give names. He's always jumping to the wrong conclusion without giving anybody time to explain the situation this is what I couldn't stand about the movie I can't stand about season 4 always just been till and she's always right and everybody in the world is wrong .
I would react the exact same way in her situation. I feel like Logan does a lot of stuff out of spite, whether he realises it or not, and Veronica deserves better than that.

@@boomds5602 It's not the fact that he slept with someone else, it was WHO he chose to sleep with. He knew that Veronica had issues with Madison and that sleeping with her would cause a great deal of pain to Veronica, but he did it anyway. Probably out of spite. That's why he is a jackass.
@@MsEdgely He was wasted. I doubt he was thinking about much of anything besides wanting to have sex. Doubt he much cared about who it was with as long as she was willing. I highly doubt this was to spite Veronica. Logan's a do now, think later kind of guy. And Logan likes girls and likes sex. But he loves Veronica.

@@MsEdgely They were broken up when it happened. She has every right to be hurt over what happened, but it's not like he cheated on her. Also her moral high ground here is ridiculous with her blaming Madison for her rape. Get it together Veronica, Madison did not roofie V on purpose. Madison could have just as easily been the victim of rape that night instead of V. Veronica is misplacing the blame on Madison and then using it to overreact to what Logan did. If she wants to blame someone who is still alive, it should be Dick. But, Veronica seems to have no issues with Logan hanging out with him.
He wanted to come to the rescue, I wonder if part of him didn't hope that this would make him her white night and they would get back together again? But you can see the heart break as he realises she has double standards for the two of them. "Piz would never" meanwhile she's spent years accusing him of every wrong or potentially wrong thing with the minimalist amount of evidence.
He looks so helpless here, like please god get these thoughts out my head, I wonder how long he replayed finding them in that elevator before he started to quiz all their interactions and is realising he's not in love with Parker and any hope he had of displaying great boyfriend potential to Veronica by dating her friend is disappearing as he watches her move on with Piz.
I bet Logan found a quiet corner at that party to cry after that. He was still so desperately in love with her at that point, and she hadnt even bothered to mention his voicemail, she didn't follow up with him after the party, he's just had all that time after to torment himself with what might have happened.

Its kind of annoying she gets mad that Logan had sex with Madison, when she really didn't do that much to her, especially as she did not know she gave her the GHB laced drink. But she talks to and allows Logan to be friends with Dick after he encouraged Cassidy to rape Veronica in the first place. He never would have raped Veronica if Dick didn't tell him too. Cassidy was bullied all his life and molested, he was mentally unstable for most of his life, mainly because of Dick and his father. Anyone with a brain knows that after years of bullying people can snap. Cassidy raping Veronica, killing all the people on the bus and others, was Dick's and his father, and Woody Goodman fault. The rape was Dick's fault. I do not, nor will i ever like Dick. I have no sympathy for bullies, especially for those who bully there own siblings.
she did know, that was what the whole trip to the dentist thing was about and how she was like "you have no idea what you did" comment came from. Also despite nurture argument your making, that's not an excuse for cassidy, as people have gone through much worse and still don't do bad things. Veronica herself was raped, bullied and lost her best friend and she used that pain to do good not kill a bunch of people and do horrible things. But Dick's an asshole and my only guess as to why she let them be friends is Veronica again is a good person and despite everything Dick did felt bad his brother killed himself.

Are people forgetting the fact that Logan lied about sleeping with Madison in the first place? Even after Veronica asked him point blank when they reconciled if he was hiding anymore secrets? I am pretty sure that played a part in why she couldn't forgive him as well. Veronica was willing to forgive Logan for sleeping with someone else during their "break", but Logan didn't own up to what he did, which is why Veronica has this reaction in the first place.
Actually he didn't lie. When veronica asked him.if he was with anyone while they were broken up he said "I fooled around with this horrible girl that meant less than nothing to me and I couldn't regret it more."
He did tell her he slept with someone but he didnt say who it was. She forgave him for it. But once she found out who it was, she broke it off.

Rather like when you came to her rescue when she was caught on the roof with Cassidy Casablancas. Oh, and you were there when she got into trouble at the River Stix. However, when you & Veronica were broken up, you did the unthinkable & slept with Madison. That, dear Logan, is UNFORGIVABLE and Veronica dumped you because that was something she "...is never getting past." Wow. No words.
Beautifully put. I understand Veronica isn't supposed to be perfect or make good decisions all the time, but I really hated what the writers did when they broke up again
+lpycb42 (now, please forgive me if i'm wrong on something, it's been a while since i watched the series) but Madison DID give Veronica a drink with a date-rape drug in it, KNOWING it was in it, didn't she? And at a high school/filled-with-drunk-teenage-assholes party? just handing veronica the date-rape drink to begin with, she's responsible as well. if i was veronica, i would share some hate with that girl as well, god. i understand why veronica hates her, and i understand how she couldn't see herself forgiving logan for sleeping with the girl who helped getting her raped.

Veronica is a great character, but, dare I say it, she is a bit self-righteous. She has made mistakes, incorrect accusations and sometimes takes foolish risks. A strong female, and often a head-strong individual. A bit immature, too, I dare say. Having said this, the most interesting characters are flawed. Both her father & Logan love her unconditionally, yet she frequently rebukes them. I would like to see Rob Thomas explore the 'maturing' of Veronica Mars
I definitely felt that way in season 1. She'd learn a bit of information, make assumptions and avoid Logan until he'd confront her. In this situation, she confronts him and tells him what she's upset about. He basically says "I didn't tell you because you didn't have a right to know. I knew it would upset you." Like that makes it OK. I think I'm on Team Veronica for this one. Loan really needs to keep it in his pants sometimes.

I love how this conversation has been going on for 9 years now, and I'll jump right in. A few points I'd like to raise: uhm, Logan broke up with Veronica, he didn't think they'd ever get back together so he was entitled to do what he wanted; second, he actually told her when they were being open with each other, he just didn't say the name. Veronica could have asked then but didn't, and she forgave him for that. She can't just take her forgiveness back?? I love Veronica Mars but I've always disliked Veronica. Like the time she accused Weevil of the robbery so confidently. "After all we've been through" said Weevil, and he's right. I don't know how people put up with her.
I just always hated that Veronica was OK with Dick and Logan being friends, than she was with Madison who didn't really do anything to her (knowingly). I'd be more pissed off at Logan for continuing to hang out with Dick.

@@mannamorris8504 I think the point was Madison didn't know the drink was roofied. She DID spit in the drink and gave it to Veronica (an asshole move, YES, but nowhere near as bad as roofieing someone), but it was DICK who actually put the roofie in the drink and gave it to Madison in order (I think he claimed) to knock Madison out for the night so he could go sleep with some other girl. So in reality it's Dick's fault Veronica was assaulted because he knowingly introduced a roofied drink to the chaotic party situation, therefore it's really Dick who Veronica should hate and want Logan not to associate with anymore.

What we're saying is: Madison was an awful character and complete asshole, but Dick is worse because he is directly responsible for the worst thing that ever happened to Veronica. Knowing this, it's weird that Veronica was fine with Logan continuing to be best friends with Dick even after she found out what happened, but completely lost her mind when Logan slept with Madison during the period after Veronica broke up with Logan and went back to dating Duncan. Basically - Madison was ACCIDENTALLY, and with no knowledge, involved with Veronica's trauma, while Dick actively caused it by putting the roofie in a drink at the party and pressuring Beaver to assault her while she was passed out.
Because Piz is a good guy, cute guy, who wouldn't hurt a fly (don't get my wrong, I ship LoVe all the way!), so I do believe she didn't suspect him, despite her personal trust issues

I do believe she overreacted but when you love someone as much as she loves him, any sort of betrayal seems like the most gut wrenching pride gouging act.

I think she was totally unfair to him, I find it weird that she would throw away their whole relationship because he slept with Madison when they were broken up, no matter how much she hates the girl. She is too hard on him every time : like when she just didn't show to the date on the boat without an explanation, or she left the house because she found out there was a camera in the room and each single he didn't do anything. She is always so quick to condemn him.

It just very telling that everytime Veronica looks at Logan/talks to Logan/ is anywhere near Logan while she's dating Piz, she looks like she just got caught making out with him/having sex with him; very guilty.
Logan thought he did it, that's why. Yes he should've made sure it was him but... what I really don't believe is that Veronica wouldn't suspect for a moment that Piz did it.
